              When Itell you Idespise this company, that isan absolute understatement. Iwanted toscream atthe people inthe line tonot buy into the bsspecials theyrun. Went from paying alittle over $100amonth to$236and counting!! After all their bssurcharges and outages, I've finally had enough. Please doyourself afavor, ifthis isthe only internet option inyour area ONLY get the Ultra pack. Donot get anything more oranything less. For the price Iwas paying, Icould have had all the streaming services and still would have paid less amonth. Which iswhat I've finally done. Idon't know whatever happened tothe lawsuit about the price gouging and slowing down connections but this isone shady company that Ireally wish Ididn't need for internet. Nothing but problems and extra charges. Next they'll start charging asign infee…smh– show

                  The staff did not help atall. Iordered aWi-Fi router yesterday but they have nothing for mewhen Icame tostore. The staff isrude and unfriendly, yelling atme.

                      Worse then going totheDMV. Went into ask ifI left mycredit card there. They seemed annoyed about myrequest then told methey would look when they got time. 20minutes later Ijust left. Thanks for the help!

                      Update…went into pay mybill.. the pay machine was yet again broken. One cashier was open but did not take cash. Why should ittake 30to 40minutes topay abill. And futher more why can't the keep the pay machine working. Aren't they inthe tec space! God forbid Ishould need t

                      o replace mymodem…that surely will bea nightmare. Get ittogether spectrum for real!!– show

                        literally the worst service ihave ever experienced inmy life. they forgot toinclude two cables that ineeded, soi scheduled atechnician visit. waited over two hours for them toshowup, then was informed after calling that the appointment had been rescheduled for tomorrow without myknowledge, ona day that ihave towork. it’s been aweek and istill have nointernet. ifthere was any other option inthis town noone would use this service.

                          The customer service rep that weworked with was very unfriendly and after the group infront ofus left the store when wewent upto the desk rudely told usto goback and sit down and wait.

                          Also asa company absolutely hate spectrum. Put them constantly goes down, but it's the only local option, sowe're stuck withit. Ialso hate that spectrum isconstantly sending the ads tobuy more services— Ihave nointerest inTV service and never will especially not for their awful prices.

                                        My husband and Ihad ahighly positive experience atthe Spectrum Ithaca, NYstore. Both the manager, Tabitha, and clerk, Melanie, were highly responsive, friendly, efficient, and persistent aswe switched our mobile service from AT&T toSpectrum (no easy feat!). Additionally they provided respectful customer service toother customers, going out oftheir way totry and resolve issues. Greatjob, Tabitha and Melanie!

                                          Hideously poor customer service, completely unjustifiable surcharges, random price gouging, and average tomediocre intnernet/tv/phone service. I've had the distinct displeasure ofhaving nochoice but touse Spectrum for the years I've lived inIthaca and ifthere was asingle other internet provider inthe area that individuals could access, Iwould have switched the first time mybill went upwith noexplanation. When Itried toadjust myservices over the phone with arepresentative, she took THIRTY MINUTES ofmy time trying toconvince meto sign onfor other services, constantly repeating the Progressive Insurance slogan of“the more you bundle the more you save,” even after multiple repetitions of“no thank you Iam not interested inkeeping the service I'm trying todrop, nor amI interested inadding another service.”

                                          I have been patronized inperson bystore employees about mycell phone provider and station inlife, again berated for what felt like aneternity because Ididn't want tosign upfor Spectrum mobile. Iwould sooner get rid ofmy cell phone altogether than sign upfor Spectrum mobile. The Spectrum model ofhaving monopoly over internet services inan area and taking that power asa license tofinancially and verbally accost and punish their customers isa genuinely evilMO. Every money saving “offer” has atime and money eating downside when itexpires, asovernight your monthly price skyrockets and employees will deploy every tactic totry and make adjusting your services asfrustrating and difficult aspossible. Every good looking deal will turn into afinancial drain that you wish you could escape. Every positive review onthis site, Istrongly suspect, iscreated byan engagement bot tocorrect the sheer number of1—2star reviews this establishment deservedly received from dissatisfied customers. Avoid ifpossible.
