Tremont Sheldon's Local Fridays is shining a spotlight on a notable not-for-profit organization called The Kennedy Collective. Since 1951, this organization has been working tirelessly to provide programs and job opportunities for people with disabilities. Throwback Thursday to April 2023Throwback Thursday to April 2023 and a Past President's dinner for the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA). Bob Sheldon was President of the organization many years ago and still actively participates in several capacities. The CTLA educates the legal community and helps the community through outreach and philanthropy. The organization is celebrating its 70th year and Tremont Sheldon has been involved for most of those years.

The official travel season is approaching with Memorial Day weekend coming up this week. Are you planning to go on a trip and rent a car? If so, you may be wondering whether you should purchase insurance from the rental car company. It is recommended that you do so if your auto insurance policy does not cover certain vehicles, such as a moving truck or van, or if you are traveling for business and your company does not have rental car insurance. Keep in mind that your auto insurance policy will not cover you if you are renting the vehicle for business purposes.

Throw Back Thursday, May 11, 2023, Attorney Frank Bailey was awarded the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association (GBBA) Career Service Award for his dedication to the Bridgeport community, GBBA, and the legal profession. Our founder, T. Paul Tremont, received the first Career Service award making Frank's award even more special.
