Even though PlayStation eventually ports all of its exclusives to PC, there's no discernable pattern when it comes to timeframe so there's no way of knowing when they might arrive. Helldivers 2 launched on PC and PS5 on the same day, whereas PC players waiting to return to Midgar via the Final Fantasy 7 Remake had to wait almost two years. It will be almost as long a wait for God Of War Ragnarok to arrive on PC as we now know when it will be on the platform. September 19, 2024, a month and a half short of the sequel's second anniversary.
Ragnarok's PC port was revealed during a State of Play, its unlocked framerate and ultrawide support making the nine realms look even more stunning than they have ever done before. Not only that, but even though there are still a few more months until Ragnarok rains down on your PC, pre-orders are already open. You can secure your PC copy of the PS5 exclusive through Steam or the Epic Games Store right now, and you'll get some snazzy in-game gear for doing so.

As detailed in a PlayStation blog post, pre-ordering Ragnarok on PC will get you Kratos's Risen Snow Armor and Atreus's Risen Snow Tunic. If you recognize the white and gold looks for the game's father and son duo, that's because they were the same pre-order bonuses given away with the PlayStation version of the game in 2022. They must still be unlocked via in-game progression, but unless you pre-order the game, they won't be there to unlock once it's released.

There are two editions of Ragnarok on PC to choose from. A standard edition above, and a deluxe edition below which will leave you with even more armor to unlock. Kratos's Darksdale Armor and Atreus's matching Darksdale attire will be waiting for you in the game if you get the deluxe edition, not to mention Darksdale grips for your blades of chaos, and a Darksdale grip for the Leviathan axe. He'd never admit it, but you know Kratos just doesn't feel right unless he is color-coordinated from head to toe, and when he and his son are wearing matching outfits. Adorable.

FAQ
How Many Hours Is God Of War Ragnarok?
Ragnarok's story is quite a bit longer than the first game and takes on average 26 and a half hours to beat. It'll take about twice as much time to do absolutely everything though if you're not ready to leave the nine realms once the game's story has been told.
Is God Of War Ragnarok As Good As God Of War?
Whether the Kratos-led sequel is as good as the original game on PS4 is ultimately up to you. If that's not good enough for you, OpenCritic has 2018's God of War sitting on a 94, while Ragnarok is just one point lower on 93.
